There is an old saying, \u201cNo news is good news.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>At the September meeting, there was one motion for action. The rest of the meeting was discussion and information. Church Treasurer, Donna Davis, was absent for work duty, so I do not have any dollar figures to give.<\/p>\n<p>The Advent Candles are not in good condition. It was approved to purchase new ones.<\/p>\n<p>Next session meeting is October 14th at 5:30 pm.<\/p>\n<p>October 26th, the session is to meet with the Deacons to discuss the work of the Church (mutual concerns) as required once a year. There will be a potluck at 6:00 pm before the meeting, usually no motions or actions are taken.<\/p>\n<p>Session adjourned at 5:55 pm.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Not a lot of news to report compared to other months.
