TERRY SWICEGOOD"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>POINTS TO PONDER <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I was thumbing through some old sermon ideas and found these sayings. Here are words to think about:<\/p>\n<p>Once a week, let a child take you on a walk.<br \/>\nMake all your major decisions in a cemetery.<br \/>\nWe you think that no one is watching, someone is.<br \/>\nSucceed at home first.<br \/>\nDon\u2019t spend tomorrow\u2019s money today.<\/p>\n<p>Pray twice as much as you fret.<br \/>\nListen twice as much as you speak.<br \/>\nOnly harbor a grudge when God does.<br \/>\nNever outgrow your love of sunsets.<br \/>\nTreat people like angels; you will meet some and help make some.<br \/>\n\u2018Tis wiser to err on the side of generosity than on the side of scrutiny.<br \/>\nWhen you can\u2019t trace God\u2019s hand, trust God\u2019s heart.<br \/>\nToot your own horn and the notes will be flat.<br \/>\nDon\u2019t feel guilty for God\u2019s goodness.<br \/>\nThe book of life is lived in chapters, so know your page number.<br \/>\nNever let the important be the victim of the trivial.<br \/>\nWhen people are doubting how far you can go, go so far that you can\u2019t hear them anymore.<br \/>\nSome people say, \u201cI can.\u201d Some people say \u201cI can\u2019t.\u201d Both are right\u2013Henry Ford.<\/p>\n<p><strong>PRAYER FOR THE DAY: <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Gracious God: Open my eyes to see the truth. Open my ears to hear Your word. Open my heart to gain understanding in all things.<\/p>\n<p>Help me to be a blessing to others with the knowledge You\u2019re going to provide me with, so that I can assist in recruiting others for the cause of Christ.<\/p>\n<p>I pray that You will infuse me with wisdom and understanding on this day and forever more.
